Jimmy C and the Blues Dragons Canadian Blues/Rocker Jimmy C hails from Vancouver, Canada, before he moved to Japan, and is now based in London. He has played along with many greats such as George Thorogood, Otis Rush, John Mayall and the many great Japanese players (Tada, High Tide Harris, among a few).
Invited to move to London to play with Mississippi John L Watson and his big band. He realised that fronting his own band was the best way to promote his style of the British Blues of the late sixties/early seventies. Jimmy C and the Blues Dragons capture the essence of that great period of Electric Blues.
Kitto (aka Miss Noise) Australian female singer-songwriter Kitto struts the stage barefoot, belting out intense songs developed during a career that’s seen her touring in 34 countries around the world. She has performed on stages from Tasmania to the North Pole alongside acts as diverse as Megadeth and Wilson Pickett. She joined Eskobar and Dionne Warwick on the Swedish TV gala ‘Abba The Tribute’ (2004), and toured as lead vocalist for Janis Joplin’s original band Big Brother & The Holding Company. Her third album, Over Sensitive (2007), features musicians like bassist Johnny Griparic and guitarist Dean Pleasants. Earlier albums include Precious Junk (2004) and Princess Of Tragedy (2002).
This year at Dundee Blues Bonanza, she has teamed up with drummer Bil Bryant from Boston, Massachusetts, who has shared the stage with Joan Osbourne, Hubert Sumlin, Johnny Thunders, and many more.
