Thanks to our Sponsors

The Committee at the Dundee Blues Bonanza would once again like to say thank you to all our sponsors for this year. The Dundee Blues Bonanza is funded using sponsorship from a number of sources. Without this help and commitment from our sponsors, the bonanza simply would not happen, so many thanks to all of you.

More Thanks

The Dundee Blues Bonanza Committee would, in addition, like to thank all of the following
The Lord Provost of Dundee John Letford, Rector of High School of Dundee Mr Michael Duncan, M.A., B. Phil., Dip. Ed., Luci McLeish of the High School of Dundee, Jill Shimi and Ken Kidd for their help in the matter of parking for band vehicles. As always, we would like to thank Pete at Bandwagon, Alan the webmaster for his tireless work, David at Benchmark PR and all our foot soldiers, Katie Hughes, Sam Beavis, Helen, Jane Mette, Al Smith, Billy Allardyce, Steven, Nigel, Stewart Francis, Stuart Retson, James 'Gaz' Low, Fairprint and everyone who has offered their help and support. Would You Like To Be a Sponsor for 2009

If you or your business would like to become a sponsor of the Dundee Blues Bonanza for 2009 please contact Bob Telford as soon as is possible. The Bonanza is now very close so please let us know as soon as is possible if you wish to become involved as a sponsor

The Dundee Blues Bonanza (as quoted in the local press) is now viewed as a "National Treasure" and we play a significant role in the Dundee Festival (see http://www.dundeefestival.com/index.htm).

Becoming a sponsor of the bonanza would most certainly be viewed closer to home as "local folks" working for their city. However when one takes into consideration the many varied accents of the bonanza audience; from all around Scotland and the rest of the UK, and from overseas, the bonanza gives businesses the opportunity to create or to strengthen links with a truly international audience.

Sponsors names and logos will be applied to a considerable amount of advertising material that is distributed locally and also taken abroad by visitors to the bonanza. Logos/Business Names are used on our website, main street posters, beer mats, flyers etc. and also in the press. Sponsors are also allocated free advertising space in our official programme. Advertising space can also be purchased separately by contacting Kat Besford for details. If there are any other ways in which you would like us to use your logo/name etc. then please contact Kat Besford to discuss how we can possibly achieve this.

Line

It would appear that the Bonanza has started a chain reaction, with other towns hosting their own blues festivals. Arbroath has been hosting their Smokie Blues Festival over the last four years, The Orkney Islands Blues Festival has been established and Montrose is now also keen to host its own Blues festival.

Wouldn't it be a great achievement if Scotland was to become a serious Blues nation like Sweden, Norway or Italy? With your help and support, this could become a reality. Thank you for taking the time to read this and we, the Committee hope to hear from you soon.
